Atelier DECORALISTA is made up of professionals who came together at the end of 2017, creating interiors that reflect their distinctive sense of aesthetics. Whether residential or commercial, the duo seeks to design personalised and welcoming spaces — timeless, with contemporary touches, fresh and elegant.

Born on 6 January 1979, Luís holds a degree in Architecture from Lusíada University, with a specialisation in Interior Design. He has worked as an architect and interior designer for approximately sixteen years, always dedicated to creating environments across different sectors, including residential, retail and office spaces. He began his career working within design studios and, in recent years, has worked independently. His practical experience in on-site project supervision has strengthened and enriched his expertise,

Born on 30 November 1978, Mafalda studied acting, worked in theatre, and graduated in Social Communication, specialising in Journalism, from the Technical University of Lisbon. She worked in television, completed placements at Antena1 and Antena3 radio stations, and ultimately found her true vocation in the press, where she has spent the later years of her professional career as a journalist. Throughout her life, she has always been fascinated by homes — imagining who lives there, how they live, and how each space was conceived. Passionate about interiors from an early age, she proves that different paths often lead to the same destination. She later completed an Interior Design course at EML (Magestil). She is also the author of the Decoralista blog, part of the Media Capital Digital bloggers’ panel, which was nominated for Best Blog of the Year in 2018. Today, with nearly 15 years of journalism experience, numerous published articles and interviews, she also works as an interior designer, signing her own projects.
